I'VE MOVED--Oct. 12, 2011

I was getting tired of the "Two Peas and their Pods" title of my blog, so I decided to change it. However, when I signed up for this blog, I used the title as the URL. So, I decided that if I was going to change the name of the blog, I would also change the URL. Anyway, to make a long story short, you can now find my blog at

I've heard it can be a little annoying for the blog's "followers" to make this change, but since I only have 1 follower...thanks, Megan!!...I figured it would probably be okay!

Oliver's actual birthday--Oct. 2, 2011

After 3 other birthday celebrations, Oliver's actual birthday finally arrived!

Oliver opening his presents from Mom, Dad, and Eli

Oliver opening his RipStik (like a skateboard, but with only 2 wheels)

Oliver couldn't wait long enough to go outside to try out his new RipStik, so he did it in the living room!

Oliver's "friends" birthday party

Just like last year, Oliver wanted to have his "friends" birthday party at Pump It Up.  He wanted to invite his entire soccer team, as well as several friends from school.  Thankfully, Pump It Up is able to handle that many hyper 8-year-olds!

Eli kept himself busy while the big kids were playing by trying to figure out the hoola-hoops

Oliver's birthday celebration at school--Sept. 30, 2011

On Friday, Oliver wanted to celebrate his birthday at school by bringing donuts for his class.  Our local Daylight Donuts (YUM!!) made some really cute pumpkin ones for him!  Eli and I took them to school and spent part of the morning with Oliver (which made me just slightly stressed considering Eli's current inability to keep himself from talking at all possible moments!)  However, we had a really good morning and even went to recess with Oliver!

Two Boys Writing--Sept. 27, 2011

Oliver was chosen to be the Star Student this week at school, and one of his jobs was to complete a poster about himself.  He was working on it before school and Eli thought he needed to work on something also!

It looks like Eli is going to be left-handed.  My dad and Pat's brother are both left-handed, so I guess he gets it naturally!
